For February 2016, the MA National Grid price to compare is 14.44 cents/kWh. This price is National Grid’s default supply rate MA for February if you do not choose another electricity provider.

Direct Energy’s 6 month 8.99 cents/kWh is a fixed rate plan meaning that the 8.99 cents/kWh rate will be locked in for six months. This is 136% savings over the current National Grid price to compare in Massachusetts. Direct Energy also is offering MA National Grid customers a 12 month, 9.59 cents/kWh fixed plan,  a 18 month, 9.79 cents/kWh fixed electricity plan and a 24 month, 10.99 cents/kWh fixed plan.
