Paying electricity bills is never fun, but having trouble getting payments in only makes it worse.

To make sure its customers have no trouble paying their electricity bills, popular Texas electricity provider TXU Energy announced earlier this month that it has added hundreds of Walmart stores across the state to its list of authorized payment locations.

These authorized payment locations make it easy for customers to pay their bills in person and see the records go into their account immediately, and even allows more options for how customers can pay their bills.

“Whether it's in the plan they choose or how they pay their bill, we give customers the choice, convenience and control they need and should expect from their electricity provider,” Michael Grasso, chief marketing officer for TXU Energy, said in a statement. ”

With the addition of these new Walmart locations, customers can now pay when and how they want – online, via debit card, using a mobile device, in person at one of nearly 4,000 payment locations, by mail or by phone.”

TXU offers a wide variety of options for its customers, including a mobile phone app that offers access to all of their account information.
