Direct Energy’s 6 month 8.99 cents/kWh is a fixed rate plan meaning that the 8.99 cents/kWh rate will be locked in for six months. This is 136% savings over the current National Grid price to compare in Massachusetts. Direct Energy also is offering MA National Gridcustomers a 12 month, 9.59 cents/kWh fixed plan, a 18 month, 9.79 cents/kWh fixed electricity plan and a 24 month, 10.99 cents/kWh fixed plan. All three of these plans offer substantial savings over the February National Grid price to compare for MA.
