Bounce Energy offers cash back for paying the bills

Author: Adam Cain | Updated:

Houston, Texas-based Bounce Energy announced on Monday, January 2, that it has introduced yet another unique discount program for customers choosing to switch to the electricity provider.

As electricity deregulation has developed and competition between electricity providers has heated up, more and more companies have found unique ways of attracting and rewarding customers.

Most recently Bounce had offered 12 different deals on the days leading up to Christmas, but now the electricity supplier has given all its customers a chance to save more on electricity bills. Rather than giving lower electricity rates, the company has introduced its “3% Cash Back Rewards” program.

With this program, any customers that pay their bills on time for 12 consecutive months can receive a 3 percent refund, credited to the balance of their next bill, with no limit on size of the savings. Even more, customers will keep receiving rebates for every 12 months of on-time bills.

Texas has become one of the centers for competitive electricity rates, with more than 57 percent of all residential and small commercial customers receiving their power from alternative electricity providers, according to the Public Utility Commission of Texas.
