Baltimore Gas & Electric wins Industry Excellence Award

July 6, 2015-BGE (Baltimore Gas & Electric) was awarded with an industry excellence award today by the Southeastern Electric Exchange. The award was for BGE’s “Business intelligence and Data Analytics” initiative which has led to the successful integration of data from eight systems, totaling in 35 billion records. From a customer standpoint this will allow for improvements within customer service for BGE, including helping customers understand and gain more information on their energy use.

This is not the first award BGE has won from the Southeastern Electric Exchange. In 2014 BGE was awarded the industry excellence award for “Saftey, Distribution, Rates and Regulation.”
