Think Energy, a retail energy company based in Houston that provides retail energy services to small business customers in deregulated states such as Massachusetts, New York, Texas, Illinois and Pennsylvania, recently helped sponsor the New York Enterprise Report 2012.

The report included the Small Business Awards that were handed out to honor strong companies in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut area.

The winners have yet to be announced, but Think Energy is known for its praise of renewable and alternative energy providers.

"We're dedicated to the success of small businesses – whether it's helping consumers make the most informed decisions when it comes to purchasing electricity or recognizing accomplished small business leaders in the communities we serve," said Deena Morgan, Vice President and General Manager of Think Energy. "We're honored to help sponsor this event as a reflection of that commitment."

As energy deregulation spreads throughout the country, more retail energy services are cropping up. This, in turn, is driving more support for small businesses that are committed to providing clean, affordable energy to residential and business customers.
