Alternative electricity provider Liberty Power announced recently that it was awarded the highest possible recognition from the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Florida.

Based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Liberty Power has been providing power across the country for the past 10 years, from the big centers for electricity deregulation like Texas to more restricted markets like California.

This long history played a key role for the company's positive evaluation by the BBB. In industry with numerous smaller companies coming and going on a regular basis, Liberty Power's staying power has given it a good basis for its service.

Combined with high marks on customer complaints and a large customer base, the BBB assigned Liberty an A+ grade, the top of its A+ through F scale.

Having recently hit 100,000 customers across the country, the company's positive review is hardly surprising.

"We are honored to have achieved the coveted A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau. Providing an exceptional customer experience is a key part of Liberty Power's strategic plan. We continue to enhance our processes and procedures to ensure we consistently provide the highest-quality levels of customer service," Alberto Daire, the company's co-founder, president and chief operating officer, said in a statement. "Being awarded the highest possible rating by the BBB underscores those efforts."
