Texas-based electricity provider Bounce Energy has continued to develop new ways for customers to make their electricity bills a way to be more active in their communities.
Many electricity providers have endeavored of late to distinguish themselves with charitable offerings through their billing processes and other similar innovations. Bounce Energy emerged as a major charitable contributor based upon its use of online media.
Bounce's latest project offers customers the opportunity to support Big Brothers Big Sisters, a group that helps to provide children with a personal connection to help guide them through challenging times.
The electricity supplier has already pledged a donation of $2,500 as it is, but customers can increase that number dramatically by liking the campaign on Bounce's Facebook page. Each "like" translates into another dollar for the group, which could grow quickly.
Supporters of Big Brothers Big Sisters can provide an even larger bonus for the group by switching electricity providers to Bounce, a move that could go on to save them on electricity bills as well.
Bounce has won awards for its online engagement of customers and its skillful use of social media, specifically for projects such as this.
